ANUVRAT GLOBAL PROSPECTIVE

Anuvrat is a Moralistic Movement but its background is purely Spiritual. The main base for Morality is the Right Character. The Right Character gets its nourishment from Spirituality. In the pursuit of Morality, the Family, the Society and even the Nation can be effected, but if it is influenced by Religion, then people can escape by adopting wrong means.

One of the biggest problems associated with religion is that it often gets confined to a particular sect. Anuvrat promulgated a Non-Sectarian Movement. The founder of Anuvrat, Acharya Shri Tulsi was himself the Acharya of a particular Sect. He never disregarded a Sect. He only emphasized that a man can be an Anuvrati even if he is the follower of a particular Sect. This is Pure Movement, a Non-Sectarian one. Anuvrat is not against any religion nor is it against any sect, but it is against sectarism.

Anuvrat Mahasamiti, New Delhi is working on various activities of Anuvrat all over the World. Anuvrat is slowly working towards reforming the whole Society to make the World a better place to live in. The most important thing about the Anuvrat movement is that it strives after the middle path steering clear of the two extremes of absolute ascetism and materialism resulting in a moral balance. It aims at inviting
an era of Self-Awakening.

Anuvrat was hailed and patronized by eminent people like the Dr. Rajendra Prasad,
C. Rajagopalachari, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Jai Prakash Narayan,
Y.B. Chavan, C. Subramaniam, Pro. Praful Chand Sen, Dr. Annadurai and Sri Vinobha
Bhave, Dalai Lama, and so many other prominent personalities from different
disciplines apart from the general masses.
